Why we love it: This fabulous store is a mecca for fans of 20th century classic furniture. Owner Janie Lazar sources and supplies high quality reproductions to order from Italy and sells them at affordable prices.

What's on offer: Furniture lighting and accessories from big name designers such as Arne Jacobsen, Eileen Grey, Eero Saarinen and Isamu Noguchi. Jane also stocks some 'new classic' items from contemporary Irish artists such as Brigid Sealy's chair bend (€990) and Charles O'Toole's Ballboy chair.

Best buys: We're loving the Eileen Gray Bibendum chair in green leather (pictured, €1,925).

Personal touches: Janie's 'Absolute Bargains' link on the website is a clever touch. Here she sells 'less than perfect' but still quality stock from suppliers at knock-down prices.
