Twenty-seven apartments in a scheme in Fairview are for sale with prices down on 2006.
Fairview Close in Dublin 3 was first launched off plans in 2006. One hundred units have since sold to date.
As a result of the current downturn, prices have been substantially reduced, twice since the summer, in order to attract buyers.
One-bed 46sq m (495sq ft) apartments at the scheme can now be bought for ¤274,000, down from ¤335,000. Two-bed units, measuring from 67 to 83sq m (727 to 907sq ft), cost from ¤355,000; last year they cost €420,000. The three-bed units at 98 to 101sq m (1,057 to 1,093sq ft) have also been reduced from ¤505,000 down to ¤430,000.
The scheme which fronts onto Richmond Avenue and Fairview Strand is being developed by Ellen Construction. When fully complete it will comprise 148 apartments in four blocks. All apartments come with one parking space, kitchen appliances and timber veneer flooring.
Block C at the scheme is being launched on-site today from 2pm to 4.30pm from four new show apartments.
