A new phase of apartments, duplexes, terraced, detached and semi-detached homes at Holywell, Kilcoole, Co Wicklow launched last weekend with prices greatly reduced.

Phase two of the Kingscroft scheme which is selling from plans, comprises 100 homes ranging in price from a one-bed apartment at €260,000 to a three-bed semi-d at €355,000 measuring from 86 to 132sq m (929 to 1,421sq ft).

A selection of large 167sq m (1,800sq ft) four-bed detached houses are available from €550,000.

According to Sherry FitzGerald, the properties are ideally suited to the requirements of "the more discerning first-time buyer and to a growing family upgrading to a larger home."

Designed by BBA Architecture, interior features include fitted kitchens with a full range of appliances and custom fitted wardrobes.

Holywell is close to the pretty seaside village of Delgany and Greystones and is just a short commute by train to Dublin.

Units in this phase are due for completion in early 2009.
