Second-half goals by Stephen Hoban and Liam Lyons helped Ballyhaunis reclaim their Mayo senior hurling championship crown with a 2-9 to 1-7 win over hosts Toureen. A goal from a 70-metre Adrian Freeman free had helped Toureen keep level with their local rivals at half time. But with Keith Higgins, scorer of four points, and his brother Pierce to the fore, they won out.
