Reuniting for 'Dancing on Ice' has been. . .

Torvill: Great. We enjoyed working and dancing together. One of the reasons we wanted to do the project was to bring us back toge-ther. We always enjoyed choreography and training.

If I wasn't talking to you right now I'd be. . .

Dean: We'd be getting lunch ready for Kieran [Torvill's son].

Torvill: He's three.

A phrase I use far too often is. . .

Dean: She hasn't got a phrase.

Torvill: He's got several. I usually prod him.

Dean: And I try to ignore it.

I say "mmmmmmm" which can be taken as anything.

I wish people would take more notice of. . .

Torvill: Spending time.

People are so busy. The best gift you can give anyone is your time.

Dean: When someone's asked to do something . . . to do it completely and not partially.

The most surprising thing ever to happen to me was. . .

Dean: Somebody had an impromptu moment and arranged for us to meet the US president.

A common misperception of me is. . .

Both: That we're married!

That we're not two people.

Torvill: That I am Torvill and Dean.

I'm very bad at. . .

Dean: She's bad at keeping time.

Torvill: And he's always early.

In moments of weakness. . .

Torvill: I buy things . . .

clothes.

Dean: I buy something. I'm a gadget guy. The last thing I bought was an iPod.

In a nutshell, my philosophy is:

Dean: It sounds mediocre, but it's to find contentment.
