Landis + Gyr has won an €81m contract to provide its smart metering technology to a company in Texas.
The company, headed by Cameron O'Reilly, will provide smart meters to customers of San Antonio-based electricity and gas supplier CPS Energy. It will have more than five million smart meters deployed when the contract is completed.
