Property developer Howard Holdings has wound up its UK arm but will continue to hold a number of assets in the UK. Howard is the company behind the €1bn Atlantic Quarter in Cork.

The decision was made in the High Court in London last week. However, in an interview with Construction News, the company's UK investment director Geoff Sparrow claimed it was "business as usual" with just the brand name being wound up.

More than 95 % of the company's assets are held in other vehicles.
