My name is Dieter Reinisch. I am a young historian from Vienna, Austria. I am doing a research project at the University of Vienna titled 'Cumann na mBan in the Provisional Republican Movement 1969-1986'.

As far as I know, most of the printed material is in private hands. I'd like to ask all readers who have any material about Cumann na mBan from this time period to please get in contact with me.

The role of Cumann na mBan during this period is sadly missing in the history books of the so-called 'Troubles'.

This research project follows the goal to enlighten the role of these republican women and give them their deserved place in history.
