Charity Dirawu gives her children a wheelbarrow ride to their new home, built by Goal with donations from the Irish public, in the the Bugari district of Uganda. There are around 1.7m orphans in Uganda – 12% of all children under 15 – and almost 800,000 of them have lost one or both parents through HIV/Aids. With a home, which costs €4,500 to build, these children have a chance of breaking the cycle of poverty.
