I just want to convey the deep appreciation of everyone at Goal for the article of 22 November on our house-building project in Uganda.

Since it appeared, we have received numerous donations from people right across Ireland who were moved to help us provide even more houses for the people of Masaka. Goal cannot thank them enough. If there is a more empathetic and generous people than our own, then I have yet to meet them.

To our amazement and delight, we also received a massive $250,000 contribution from a donor in the US who was inspired by the Sunday Tribune highlighting our work in Uganda.
