SIX people remained in custody yesterday evening in connection with the murder on Wednesday of John "Champagne" Carroll, who was shot at a pub in Dublin, writes Ali Bracken.


Detectives are probing the background of the drug trafficker but believe his death may be linked to a personal dispute, possibly with an INLA activist.
