Simon Cowell has admitted that "the situation" with Susan Boyle was not handled as well as it could have been as the Britain's Got Talent runner-up pulled out of more live shows.
Boyle (48) missed a show in Nottingham on Friday to take a "rest day" but was still expected to perform in London last night.
Cowell admitted: "Looking back on it all, it has become clear to me that we didn't handle the situation with Susan as well as we could have.
"Yet, to be honest, I don't know that I could have done it any differently."
He said he met Boyle's family last week and asked their opinion about whether she should have been allowed to continue competing once it became clear that she was finding it stressful.
Susan does not object fame, she said "Fantastic" when told about her millions fans in YouTube.
I think that what she detested is this:
-all journalists/photographers always following her (see in YouTube she seemed angry when followed by a video-maker),
-having to change her old snug dresses into new pantalons etc (I myself prefer dresses and don't like pants except for sleeping),
-she must make her face up now for those criticizing her looks, etc. etc.
-she has had no time to practice singing for the semifinals due to all the junkies .
-Also maybe there are men following or approaching her closely to attract her attention, just to play with her (see a photo in CelebBitchy, a man hugging her shoulders so close she seemed crushed),
as a unmarried women she must be confused who must she believe in and who not?
-All this on top of her losing BGT because of bad articles about how men provoking comotion with her resulted in her heated reactions.
-She must be very afraid to lose she chose the same song for the Finals, and must be greatly disappointed by the unexpected loss in BGT.
My husband (who's no fan of her) said just now after hearing her song for the 50th time (after a long break after BGT's Final): "How come such a beautiful VOICE could have not won?"
(In Indonesian, "Kok bisa suaranya enakan begitu tidak menang?")
I said she lost to dancers, maybe Britons like dances more. He said "that's chaos, dancers should compete with dancers, and singers with singers, just like Idols everywhere".
