* It seems Spanish pop star Enrique Iglesias really is a sex machine. Prior to performing at this year's Meteor Ireland Music Awards last Tuesday, he is said to have told concert organisers, he was... how you say?... " Feeling horny" .

Afterwards, Enrique hightailed it from the RDS telling organisers he was " late for his flight". Which is strange as he jetted in and out on his own plane. A Diary spy told us: " I don't know who Enrique was rushing off to see but whoever it was, they were in for one hell of a good time."

* RTÉ comedian Katherine Lynch gave punters an eyeful at the Alternative Miss Ireland Contest in the Olympia Theatre last week. Lynch, one of the judges holed up in a balcony box above the crowd, decided to lift her top when introduced to the punters below.

" The wine was flowing. It was a decadent night. What can I say," Katherine told us.

* They might have got the colour of the buses wrong and had 'police' instead of 'Garda' on the squad cars in their St Patrick's Day Special, but that didn't put a dampener on the visit to Dublin for the writers and producers of The Simpsons. They were in fine form when they rounded off their visit to Dublin with a meal in Shanahan's on the Green last Wednesday night.
