Property Developer Bernard McNamara confirmed that he has not sold his Ailesbury Road, Dublin home, and said that it was never on the market. The businessman, who has lived there with his family since 2000, will continue to do so.

Two weeks ago, the Sunday Tribune reported on speculation that the developer had sold the house through estate agents Finnegan Menton, but we have now established that this is not the case. The house, which includes a cinema and an underground swimming pool, is not and never has been for sale and Finnegan Menton was never instructed in a sale.

McNamara changed his official registered address from his home on Ailesbury Road to an office building in Pembroke Street, in Dublin's business district, but the businessman and his family continue to reside on Ailesbury Road.

He has lodged documents with the Companies Office to change his address as a company director to No 87-89 Pembroke Road, Dublin 4, the hq for many of McNamara's companies.
