PAT 'The Cope' Gallagher, Fianna Fáil TD for Donegal South West, is expected to become the party's second candidate in the North West (formerly Connacht-Ulster) constituency for the 5 June European elections.


Gallagher told the Sunday Tribune, "I was asked on Friday by the party to stand and I am making my mind up over the weekend before the deadline for nominations on Monday morning at noon."
