As a regular reader, it was with great delight that I read your paper's exposure of Donal McIntyre's dubious journalistic tactics ('Limerick Documentary Slanderous', News, 1 November).

Some time ago, I watched a programme about Dublin by the same guy on Sky 1 shown as part of the series World's Most Dangerous Cities. In this programme he frequently referred to the ongoing bombing campaign between feuding Dublin gangs. In this programme he consistently used footage from Northern Ireland troubles showing massive bombs going off. The obvious implication was that this was Dublin and no attempt was made to correct this blatant and shameful misdirection.
