The former headquarters of the Progressive Democrats in central Dublin remains unoccupied 18 months after it was put up for sale or lease.
The four-storey Georgian House at South Frederick Street was occupied by the PDs from 1985 until mid-2008, and it seems the building has almost as much luck as the former political party.
The owners originally wanted €2.4m for the property when it first went on the market in July 2008, but because of the property market collapse, the asking price was reduced by €800,000 to €1.6m.
Despite the sizeable reduction there have still been no takers and the property is still on the market.
The building is a protected structure and is being advertised as "a fine mid-terrace four-storey over basement Georgian house which is in full office use with an art gallery at basement level".
