RTÉ Radio won 11 awards at the PPI radio awards on Friday night. Among the winners were Ryan Tubridy, who picked up the speech broadcaster of the year, Pat Kenny for best current-affairs programme, RTÉ News at One won best news programme and its presenter, Sean O'Rourke, picked up the award for best news broadcaster. Morning Ireland's Cian McCormick was named as the best news reporter.
