EIGHT members of staff at a shoe shop went on strike yesterday in protest at threatened pay cuts.


The Connolly shoe shop staff in Dun Laoghaire picketed two shops claiming management have refused to negotiate with them on 10% salary cuts. The workers, represented by the union Mandate, also said some workers are only being paid for three days despite working five.
