In Bulgaria, an enquiry has been launched after the exact same numbers were drawn from two consecutive lottery draws. Officials are calling the incident a fluke, although the odds of it happening are one in four million. The numbers, 4, 15, 23, 24, 35 and 42 – came up on both 6 and 10 September. No one won the prize in the first draw, but 18 people guessed the numbers in the second. The lotto draw, called 'The Tantaliser', is drawn live on television with independent inspectors.

A new US study has revealed that teen birth rates are highest in more conservatively religious states. The researcher for the study said: "Religious communities in the US are more successful in discouraging the use of contraception among their teenagers than they are in discouraging sexual intercourse".
