A man has died following a plane crash in Co Wicklow yesterday afternoon.


Another man was injured and was treated at the scene of the crash.


The light aircraft went down near Powerscourt golf course, outside Enniskerry in the north of the county, shortly after 3pm yesterday.


It is understood the two were out on a private flying lesson.
