A male competitor in the Donegal International car rally was killed in an accident at the event yesterday.
The name of the man, believed to be in his early 30s and from county Meath, had not been released.
It is understood that he suffered fatal injuries when the car he was co-pilot of crashed.
The accident occurred near Ramelton, on the second day of the three-day event.
