SINN Féin leader Gerry Adams is calling on the government to set up a Youth Jobs fund to tackle unemployment.
Adams called for massive investment to bring 20,000 young people into the workforce.
He made the call at a youth conference yesterday where he also called for a halt to cuts in funding for training courses.
