Regarding the open letter to the ambassador of Israel from Captain (Rtd) Tony Doonan in the Sunday Tribune of 20 June 2010.
The good Captain ends his letter by saying that he and his family will be boycotting Israeli goods. This proposed economic boycott is an indiscriminate collective punishment of all the different peoples and races living in Israel, including people of the Jewish religion. Regarding the latter, Captain Doonan says he visited Auschwitz in order to "separate his feelings" towards them, presumably from Israel; given his decision to collectively punish all people living in Israel, I don't think his visit to Auschwitz has been successful.
