America's most wanted monkey has eluded capture again. The rhesus macaque has been on the run from Florida wildlife officials for over a year, and escaped yet another trap. The monkey shook off attempts to neutralise it using tranquilliser darts. The monkey appears to be immune to the darts, even though the dosage has been dramatically increased every time it was shot at. Wildlife rehabilitator Vernon Yates said the monkey was becoming increasingly used to city life, even checking traffic flow before it crossed roads.
