For my liking, ...Fiann is a bit too close to Fianna (as in Fianna Failure). On a more serious note, I have always had difficulty with the bellicose words and much prefer Danny Boy which could be a good NI-ROI song which all the players can sing. It's beautiful (like the country-side) and also sad (like our government's efforts) concerns emigration (our biggest industry) burial (like our economy) but best of all, a come back like our future!!!
