TWO men lost their lives in separate road crashes early yesterday morning.


One of the victims, in his 20s, was killed in Co Cork at around 9.20am following an incident involving a number of vehicles on the N22 near Ballyvourney.


Elsewhere, an 18-year-old pedestrian lost his life at around 3.20am on the Warrenpoint Road in Newry, Co Down, after he was hit by a car. The victim was named as Stephen Markey from the Warrenpoint area.
