A 39-year-old man was remanded in custody yesterday on a charge linked to the death of a man in a pub in Arranmore Island, off Donegal, last weekend.


Stephen Boyle was accused of intentionally or recklessly causing serious harm to 19-year-old Paul Francis Boyle on 3 October at Leabgarrow, Arranmore.


He remained silent during a four-minute hearing before Judge Kevin Kilrane at a special sitting of Ballyshannon District Court.
