GARDAÍ investigating the death of a woman found in the boot of a burnt-out car in Wexford say she may have been dead before being placed in the vehicle.
The deceased was named locally as Rebecca French, a mother of two believed to be in her late 20s. Four men and two woman were being held in New Ross, Wexford and Gorey garda stations yesterday in connection with the incident.
The badly burned remains were found in a blue Opel Corsa on a back road near the Ballindinas roundabout.
