Gardai have launched a murder inquiry after the body of a man was discovered in a car close to Dublin Airport yesterday afternoon. The victim is believed to be JP Joyce, who was abducted in north Dublin three days ago. He had a number of gunshot wounds.


The car was discovered at Dunbro Lane at the back of Dublin Airport at around 2pm yesterday. Last June Joyce's brother Tommy was shot dead at a halting site near Darndale.
