HER family must be very proud. Big Brother contestant and former Miss Northern Ireland Orlaith McAllister took to the house like a duck to water last week . . . no sooner had she crossed the threshold than she was displaying her almost naked body in the shower.

Well done. Of course it's not as if Orlaith isn't accustomed to the attention, she hit the big time last year as the face of Sun FX Spray-on Tan Solution and has successfully beaten off the competition to become Northern Ireland 'Model of the Year'.

Orlaith was parachuted into the Big Brother house last week in an attempt to liven up the excruciatingly dull proceedings. Not only has her presence proved diverting for the male members of the house but she has raised the hackles of fellow female housemate Makosi, who had previously cornered the BBmarket on exhibitionism.

No doubt Orlaith's family and friends are swelling with pride as the weeks drag on and of course, her appearance is a sure-fire guarantee that her star will continue to shine brightly for at least 10 minutes after her departure.

What more could a Northern Ireland Model of the Year want?
