Television Heroes - Seachtar na cásca

Thanks to the cult of personality, I've forgotten all I ever knew about the signatories of the Proclamation of Independence except a few cartoonish details about James Connolly (big lefty) and Padraig Pearse (blood-sacrificing loon). Thankfully TG4's Seachtar na Cásca does a great job retelling their stories.

Television Villains - Valemount

I like vampires, but it was only a matter of time before popular culture ate too many and got sick. This has resulted in Valemont, a half-arsed MTV drama which features daft over-familar plots, and dialogue that deconstructs itself at it goes ("Me and your brother were very, very close. I never knew he had a sister").
