Galway developer Gerry Barrett has had three of his companies listed for strike-off by the Companies Office. Edward Holdings, Radical Properties and Talebury Properties have not filed auditors' reports since 2008; they are unlimited companies meaning they do not have to file publicly available accounts. The group had not commented at the time of going to press about the companies being put on the strike-off list.
It was reported recently that it had sold the Bow Street magistrates court in London for €29.5m. Barrett developed the G hotel in Galway and also bought the Meyrick and Corrib Great Southern Hotel there. He also bought Ashford Castle in Mayo.
