The folks over in Stradbally seem to have got the Electric Picnic line-up spot on this year, giving up on hooking big Bowie-shaped fish, and sticking to smaller more chin-stroking mid-range acts to satisfy unemployed architects and people who work for Google everywhere. We're especially looking forward to sets from Memory Tapes, the National and Fever Ray.

But that's sort of where the coolness ends when one looks at the shocking logo they've chosen this year. Like some Celtic Olympics symbol made by a work-experience transition-year student in MS Paint, it fails to capture the essence of the 'boutique' festival which generally revolves around dumping the kids with their grandparents, stocking up on boxes of wine and taking too many mushrooms. Now if they could incorporate those elements in a festival logo, we'd be very impressed.
