Facebook, of which I am a member, albeit with no photograph and two friends I've never heard of (a third person removed me as a friend when she realised I wasn't the Diarmuid Doyle she had a mad affair with years ago) is supposed to be a forum for getting in touch and keeping in touch.
Not, however, if you're a member of the Shell To Sea campaign which had its page taken down with no warning or reason by Facebook last week.
It seems the company, which will be setting up a HQ in Dublin soon, has apparently decided it must stifle information about people who do not share its corporate viewpoint.
