A CREWMAN from a Belgian merchant ship was recuperating in hospital yesterday after being rescued by the Irish Coast Guard.
The sailor had suffered electrical burns after an accident on board the ship, the Coast Guard said.
The alarm was raised at about 10pm on Friday when the vessel was 12 miles off the coast of Clogherhead, Co Louth.
