The parents of a 15-year-old stabbed to death in Tyrrelstown, Dublin, have condemned his murder as racially motivated as gardaí last night continued to question two brothers in relation to the fatal knife attack.

A senior garda said detectives were still trying to establish a motive but are aware of the racism allegations.

Toyosi Shitta Bey (15), originally from Nigeria, was stabbed fatally in the heart on Friday night. "They killed my son because he was black," said his mother Segun Shitta Bey (pictured).
