THE seventh annual Docklands Maritime Festival continues in Dublin today with a number of visiting tall ships moored along the Liffey.

Last year a record 150,000 people attended the festival, which encompasses a variety of events celebrating Ireland's maritime tradition. Numerous activities have been planned for the bank holiday including music, street theatre and puppet shows. A market features an extensive array of produce, from food to crafts, clothing and art.

The attractions, which opened to the public on Friday, will continue today from 10am to 8pm and tomorrow from 10am to 6pm on both the north and south quays of the river Liffey. Further information can be found at www.dublindocklands.ie/maritime.
