Mothers' Union in England gets abreast of the situation

Mothers' Union members in Somerset in England have been commissioned by the NHS to knit woollen breasts in order to help teach new mothers how to breastfeed properly. The NHS has asked for 150 woollen breasts after they were deemed to be a better alternative to balloons. "At first I thought they needed 150 woolly vests," said Shirley Dibbs of the Mothers' Union. "But our members are always ready to help good causes." The new breastfeeding aids will be used by health visitors and community nurses.
