So, the latest estimate is that another five billion lies (sorry, euro) will have to be "invested" in Anglo Irish Bank. "Invest" is the word Mary Hanafin used to describe the latest Fianna Fáil raid on all our futures. If Fianna Fáil ministers were as good at efficient and ethical administration as they are at lying, we would be the best little country in the world.
We need to be relentless in our condemnation of the cretins who have destroyed the economy. Fianna Fáil learned, at the farcical tribunals of inquiry in Dublin Castle, that if you keep on lying long enough, Irish people become broken-down and give up hoping for justice. The same formula is being applied now. The victims of Fianna Fáil might feel powerless at present, but I would venture to suggest that the one thing we can control is resistance to the lies. So, once again, it wasn't "Lehman's" or aliens from outer space who wrecked the economy, it was Fianna Fáil.
The one thing that would enable the nation to 'park' its rage about Fianna Fáil corruption would be the election of a new government. We cannot face the future with our destroyers telling us what the solutions to our problems are. Fianna Fáil-ism is the frame around which this disaster has been built. Cronyism, corruption, greed,
bribery and lying like the devil are the 'stations of the cross' for Fianna Fáil.
The time has come for this nation to reject Fianna Fáil and Fianna Fáil-ism for good.
