It is sickening to hear Fianna Fáil TDs droning on about getting back to core values and representing the concerns of ordinary taxpayers.
Where were they while the country was being sold down the Swanee to developers and bankers?
Why are none of them asking Brian Lenihan why he has decided not to proceed with the changes to section 23 of the finance bill, but to set up a committee to look at it?
Core values how are you! It is obvious that nothing has changed or can change with this party because it has sold its soul, both literally and metaphorically, to vested interests.
My suggestion to Fianna Fáil is to close up shop and leave Irish politics, and maybe we can be rid of this culture of crony capitalism once and for all.

But they aren't promoting their real " core values " are they? Aren't their real core values those of self-interest, greed and arrogant refusal to admit they did wrong. They are willing to admit " mistakes ", but acknowledging wrong-doing is beyond them.
