A CONFERENCE of the Civil and Public Service Union (CPSU) which has voted in favour of industrial action continued its discussions in Galway yesterday.

Delegates had voted on Friday to take further industrial action unless the government abandons its pension levy plans.

The CPSU has also called on the Irish Congress of Trade Unions to establish a one-day strike over the levy.
