SINN FÉIN has appealed to the government not to
target Ireland's most vulnerable people in Tuesday's budget.

Speaking at the party's Ard Comhairle in Dublin yesterday, MEP Mary Lou McDonald (above) said it must focus on saving jobs and helping those who are in need.

The party met for detailed discussions on the economy, job creation and the emergency budget.
