CALLS have been made for the Tánaiste to intervene in the UPS dispute, with 200 jobs set to go at the Tallaght call centre.
The company said that the decision to shed the jobs from October was made due to difficulties in finding staff with the required language skills. It is another blow to the area which has witnessed the number of people out of work rise by 85% in the last year.
