GARDAÍ are investigating after a 63-year-old man was killed in a blaze at his home.


The man – who was the only person in the property at the time – died after the fire broke out at his house in the Garryowen area of Limerick at around 4am yesterday.


The scene was preserved for a technical examination but gardaí said that while investigations were continuing, foul play was not suspected.
