A LIFT strike which has now entered its eighth week has been referred to the Labour Court for a recommendation this Monday.
The dispute at Pickerings Lifts has affected a number of major building complexes in the country, including the remaining high-rise towers of Ballymun, Dublin, where two-thirds of lifts are out of order.

This is not correct. Pickerings lifts is serving all of it's customers nationwide with a full range of services. No buildings are affected.
