Management of the Aviva Stadium will not be making any improvements to the venue despite a range of issues raised by stadium-goers in the last week.
Just under 150 people complained to promoters MCD about crowd control and sound problems following last weekend's Michael Bublé concerts.
"Yes, there is a sea of people but that is to be expected with 50,000 people all wishing to leave the stadium after the game," said a stadium spokesman. "In order to ensure they do so safely there is a colour-coded system of entry and exiting the stadium which ensures people are spread around the stadium and its many exits. Stewards are present at all times. It is not an issue, nor do we believe precautions need to be put in place."
The spokesman also denied the specially-designed acoustics of the stadium had any part to play in the complaints over the Bublé concerts.
"He had his own sound system, it wasn't our own so there's nothing that we can say about that. There is no problem with sound on our part and MCD are dealing with all the complaints in that regard."
A spokesman for MCD said the issues were merely down to teething problems. "From an attendance of 97,400 across two shows, less than 150 people complained with most of them either reseated or offered tickets for the second night's performance.
"This issue was down to teething problems of being the first concerts at the new
stadium."
