SOCIALIST MEP Jim Higgins is organising a protest next week over what he has described as an "anti-worker" budget.


"The government... aims to fundamentally undermine workers' rights and conditions in the public sector," he said.


Calling on all workers to gather outside the Dáil at 1pm on Wednesday, he said it was necessary "to give a roar of opposition to this government as it discusses the budget".
