BILLIONAIRE Dermot Desmond has invited 163 luminaries of the arts comm­un­ity to assist him in the establish­ment of a "global university" for culture and the arts.


Those contacted were in­vit­ed to "be a founder, a designer and architect of this initiative".


Desmond said the project should be united with similar existing cultural initiatives within the third-level sector.
