THE removal of a Wicklow shopkeeper stabbed to death last Wednesday took place yesterday evening as two men continued to be questioned in relation to his death. John Deasy died after confronting a raider in his shop.


The 45-year-old father-of-two will be buried at St Gabriel's Cemetery in Arklow tomorrow following requiem mass at noon in St Mary's and Peter's church.


Two 19-year-old men were being questioned by gardaí in Arklow and Wicklow garda stations yesterday.
